Registered Care Home Manager We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Care Home Manager to join an established care provider overseeing one of its residential care homes within Berkshire or Surrey.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate leader with a strong clinical background to take ownership of a well-established service, ensuring the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care while leading and developing a high-performing team.

The Role As Registered Care Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high-quality care is delivered in line with CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
You'll lead the staff team, oversee operational performance, and create a positive environment where residents receive compassionate, safe, and effective care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day management of the care home.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation.
  • Promote high-quality, person-centred care for all residents.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary staff team.
  • Oversee recruitment, staff supervision, appraisals, and performance management.
  • Manage budgets, occupancy, and operational performance.
  • Ensure effective medication management, clinical governance, and health & safety compliance.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
  • Monitor quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
About You We're looking for a compassionate and experienced leader with a strong clinical background.
Essential Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC Pin.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Care Home Manager or in a senior management role within a care home.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation.
  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, or behaviours that may challenge.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding care and achieving excellent service outcomes.
