A fantastic opportunity is available for caring and dedicated Therapeutic Support Workers to join a growing residential childcare provider in Warrington. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children and young people within a therapeutic and nurturing environment.
You will work closely with the management team to provide high quality care and support to young people, helping them develop confidence, independence and positive outcomes.
š¹ Main Responsibilities:
⢠Support and safeguard children and young people at all times
⢠Provide a warm, safe and nurturing home environment
⢠Work in line with care plans and placement plans
⢠Encourage positive routines, boundaries and behaviours
⢠Act as a positive role model for young people
⢠Complete key worker responsibilities where required
⢠Support young people with daily activities, education and leisure activities
⢠Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies
⢠Attend meetings, reviews and training sessions as required
⢠Maintain accurate records and reports
⢠Work in line with Childrenās Home Regulations, safeguarding and health and safety procedures
⢠Support young people who may display challenging behaviour using a therapeutic approach
ā Requirements:
⢠Experience working with children and young people is preferred
⢠Willingness to complete or already hold Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
⢠Strong communication and team working skills
⢠Flexible to work shifts including weekends, evenings and sleep ins
⢠Full UK driving licence is essential
⢠Enhanced DBS required
