💷 £16 per hour plus £60 sleep in payment
🕒 Rolling rota pattern of 2 days on including sleep in shifts and 4 days off
✨ Overtime available
A fantastic opportunity is available for caring and dedicated Therapeutic Support Workers to join a growing residential childcare provider in Warrington. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children and young people within a therapeutic and nurturing environment.
You will work closely with the management team to provide high quality care and support to young people, helping them develop confidence, independence and positive outcomes.
🔹 Main Responsibilities:
• Support and safeguard children and young people at all times
• Provide a warm, safe and nurturing home environment
• Work in line with care plans and placement plans
• Encourage positive routines, boundaries and behaviours
• Act as a positive role model for young people
• Complete key worker responsibilities where required
• Support young people with daily activities, education and leisure activities
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies
• Attend meetings, reviews and training sessions as required
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Work in line with Children’s Home Regulations, safeguarding and health and safety procedures
• Support young people who may display challenging behaviour using a therapeutic approach
✅ Requirements:
• Experience working with children and young people is preferred
• Willingness to complete or already hold Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
• Strong communication and team working skills
• Flexible to work shifts including weekends, evenings and sleep ins
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Enhanced DBS required
