An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated registered care manager to join a well established care provider in Birmingham. this role is ideal for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering high quality person centred care and leading a successful service.
the successful candidate will oversee the daily running of the service, ensure compliance with cqc standards, support staff development, and maintain excellent levels of care and occupancy.

šŸ”¹ Key responsibilities:

• act as the cqc registered manager for the service
• manage the day to day operations of the service
• ensure all care records are accurate and compliant
• oversee staff payroll and rota management
• monitor medication administration and record keeping
• work closely with multi disciplinary teams and healthcare professionals
• manage referrals and create care packages for service users
• maintain full occupancy and support service growth
• produce monthly reports and monitor service performance
• ensure person centred care plans are implemented and reviewed regularly
• participate in the on call rota with senior staff
• support recruitment, supervision and staff development
• manage budgets and monitor expenditure effectively
• handle staffing matters including recruitment, absence and disciplinary processes
• ensure compliance with policies, procedures and legislation
• build positive working relationships with external agencies and professionals

• Experienced as a registered care manager within health and social care
• strong understanding of cqc regulations and compliance
• excellent leadership and organisational skills
• ability to manage teams and service performance effectively
• experience within mental health or supported living services is desirable
• flexible approach to working hours when required
