An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated registered care manager to join a well established care provider in Birmingham. this role is ideal for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering high quality person centred care and leading a successful service.
the successful candidate will oversee the daily running of the service, ensure compliance with cqc standards, support staff development, and maintain excellent levels of care and occupancy.
š¹ Key responsibilities:
⢠act as the cqc registered manager for the service
⢠manage the day to day operations of the service
⢠ensure all care records are accurate and compliant
⢠oversee staff payroll and rota management
⢠monitor medication administration and record keeping
⢠work closely with multi disciplinary teams and healthcare professionals
⢠manage referrals and create care packages for service users
⢠maintain full occupancy and support service growth
⢠produce monthly reports and monitor service performance
⢠ensure person centred care plans are implemented and reviewed regularly
⢠participate in the on call rota with senior staff
⢠support recruitment, supervision and staff development
⢠manage budgets and monitor expenditure effectively
⢠handle staffing matters including recruitment, absence and disciplinary processes
⢠ensure compliance with policies, procedures and legislation
⢠build positive working relationships with external agencies and professionals
ā Requirements:
⢠Experienced as a registered care manager within health and social care
⢠strong understanding of cqc regulations and compliance
⢠excellent leadership and organisational skills
⢠ability to manage teams and service performance effectively
⢠experience within mental health or supported living services is desirable
⢠flexible approach to working hours when required
