Responsible Individual/Operations ManagerUp to £65,000 (Plus Profit Share) – Learning  Disability homes based in East London
 
Profile:
We are proud to be working with a fantastic Children’s Home that are looking for experienced and Passionate people to join the team. They are looking for an Responsible Individual/ Operations Manager that will provide operational leadership for 2 children’s homes (Ofsted regulated) ensuring the implementation of the organisation’s strategy, taking responsibility for designated homes, balancing the maximisation of profitability with the ethos of excellent quality and ensuring full compliance in respect of all relevant legislation and regulation
 
Responsible Individual/Operations Manager Role
  • Comply with Safeguarding Children policy and procedures at all times and promote an honest and open culture
  • Comply with the Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times
  • Ensure that all homes meet the mandated training and Health and Safety compliance targets
  • Ensure full compliance in respect of all relevant legislation and regulation
  • Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures at all times
  • Promote and ensure the good reputation of the organisation at all times
  • Always act in a professional manner, operating with integrity, respecting individuals and maintaining confidentiality
  • Promote strong personalisation/individual care & support, striving to achieve the highest standards of personalised support
  • Register with Ofsted as Responsible Individual for designated children’s homes, ensuring full regulatory / legislative compliance
  • Provide effective leadership; responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of all designated children’s homes
  • Work in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team on new business/development projects
  • Responsible for delivering agreed levels of “EBITDA”, return on investment and cash-management targets in line with the annual budget, by effectively and efficiently managing resources, and aiming to improve the quality of earnings – optimising profitability and managing costs effectively
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve the financial performance of the homes, producing and executing a business plan that delivers a profitable return on investment
 
Responsible Individual/Operations Manager Requirements
  • Formal sector related qualification, ideally at level 5/7 (desirable) or willingness to work towards
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation relating to residential children’s homes (Essential)
  • Experience in working in relevant health and social care setting (Essential)
  • Residential Childcare: 3 years (required)
