This home supports children with diverse and complex needs, and the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring stability, safety, and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Full accountability for home operations, including care standards, safeguarding, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
- Promote a trauma-informed, child-centred culture throughout the home.
- Work collaboratively with families, local authorities, and external partners to achieve the best outcomes for each child.
- Ensure the home consistently meets or exceeds Ofsted requirements.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management or deputy management role in a children's residential care setting.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People’s Services or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, children’s home regulations, and Ofsted inspection framework.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Competitive salary of up to £55,000 per year, based on experience.
