About the Role
We are excited to be working with an incredible Children’s Home who are offering the opportunity for a Registered Manager with specialist experience in learning disabilities to lead our well-established 5-bed children’s home in Knowsley. The home has recently benefited from significant investment and boasts an on-site Ofsted-registered ‘GOOD’ school, creating a truly integrated and supportive environment for young people.
This is a key leadership role within a stable and values-led organisation. You’ll be supported by a strong team, including an Assistant Psychologist, a broader clinical team, and access to EHCP planning and educational professionals. Our vision is to expand and enhance our offer for children with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and we’re looking for a manager with broad experience in this client group to help shape that future.

Registered Children’s Home Manager Requirements
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager in a learning disability children’s home
- Holds or is working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People’s Services) or equivalent
- Has a strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding frameworks
- Is a confident, compassionate leader with a passion for improving children’s lives
- Brings broad experience supporting children with LD and ASD
- Is ready to contribute to ongoing service development
