Registered Nursing Home Manager – Elderly Care
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000
Hours: Full Time
We’re working with a respected elderly care provider to recruit a Registered Nursing Home Manager for their modern, purpose-built home in Sheffield. The home supports older people with nursing, dementia, and palliative needs – offering a welcoming, family-focused environment.
You’ll be responsible for the overall performance of the home, including compliance, care quality, team development, and occupancy. This role is ideal for a Registered Manager with a passion for leading from the front and creating a positive culture of care.
Key Duties:
• Deliver safe and effective care to elderly residents
• Ensure full compliance with CQC and safeguarding standards
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team and promote continuous development
• Manage budgets, occupancy, recruitment, and staff training
• Build strong relationships with families and local professionals
You Will Need:
• Proven management experience in a care home setting
• NMC PIN (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent understanding of elderly care, dementia, and end-of-life pathways
• NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent leadership qualification)
