Registered Children's Home Manager - Residential Children’s Homes - West London - Up to £60,000 - Full Time

What they Need
They are seeking an Ofsted Registered Manager, to successfully manage two purpose-built children's homes in West London Ashford, Surrey & West Drayton, Hillingdon.
This includes fixed hours, generous pay, and travel allowance/car mileage.


Registered Children's Home Manager Job Role
  • Work closely with children with SEBDs (Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Difficulties) and other trauma-related care needs.
  • Lead and manage the Children’s Homes consistent with the therapeutic ethos of the homes, delivering high-quality care and outcomes for children placed in them.
  • Ensure the home’s Statement of Purpose is adhered to throughout all working practices.
  • Achieve “Good” with the aspirational focus to achieve an “Outstanding” service under Children’s Home Regulations and the Ofsted Regulatory framework.
  • Demonstrate a passion and commitment to excellent care and quality, both in service delivery and outcomes for young people.
  • Obtain successful registration with Ofsted (fit persons test/interview).
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards at all times.
  • Comply with Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures at all times and promote an honest and open culture.
  • Develop the staff team’s knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices and processes.
 
Registered Children's Home Manager Responsibilities 
  • Inspire, motivate, and build a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
  • Nurture staff potential and support skill development.
  • Demonstrate strong and effective leadership and people management
  • Ensure resources, including staff, are effectively deployed to optimise service delivery.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be accountable for managing financial performance and meeting/exceeding agreed targets.
  • Lead a culture of continuous improvement with a strong focus on best practice.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for innovation to maintain a sustainable and resilient business.
 
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant Children’s Home legislation and Ofsted Regulation
  • Currently hold or have previously held a registration with Ofsted as a Registered Manager (Preferred)
  • Have experience in working within Children's Homes for at-least 2 years in the last 5 years including staff management and supervisory experience.
  • Level 5 Qualification - Health and Social Care, Leadership and Management, or Residential Children’s Care and Management, or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Have exceptional leadership and management skills.
  • A willingness to undertake this qualification within 24 months of starting
