We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a 4-bed EBD children’s residential home in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a small, therapeutic service and make a genuine, lasting impact on the lives of young people.
The Role As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for:

• The day-to-day leadership and management of a 4-bed EBD home
• Ensuring high-quality, child-centred and trauma-informed care
• Leading, supporting, and developing a dedicated staff team
• Maintaining full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted requirements
• Managing safeguarding, care planning, and placement stability
• Preparing for and leading Ofsted inspections
• Working closely with external professionals and senior leadership

About You We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience as a Registered Children’s Home Manager
• Has strong knowledge of EBD and therapeutic residential care
• Is confident leading inspections and maintaining regulatory compliance
• Holds (or is working towards) the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
• Is passionate, resilient, and committed to positive outcomes for young people
