Are you looking for a rewarding role within children’s residential care where you can be part of a supportive and positive team? We’re currently recruiting for a Children’s Residential Support Worker to join a well-established service.

šŸ“ LocationĀ Chesterfield
šŸ’· Salary: Circa Ā£32,000 per year (including sleep-ins)
ā° Shifts: 15-hour shifts on a rota basis (including weekends)
šŸ’¼ The Role As a Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in providing a safe, nurturing and structured environment for children and young people, supporting their day-to-day needs and development.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting young people with daily routines, activities and personal development
  • Promoting independence, life skills and positive behaviours
  • Encouraging engagement in community activities such as sports, outings and social events
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children at all times
  • Completing accurate records, reports and care documentation
  • Working collaboratively with families, professionals and external agencies
  • Supporting with household tasks including cooking and maintaining a safe environment
āœ… Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or Level 3 in Residential Childcare
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted standards
