We are recruiting for an experienced and driven Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a 4-bed EBD residential home in Thorne. The Role
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of a 4-bed children’s residential home
- Support young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Home Standards
- Lead, develop, and motivate your staff team
- Manage safeguarding, care planning, and risk assessments
- Drive the home towards Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
- Maintain strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within children’s residential care
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks
- Experience working with EBD young people
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Salary up to £55,000 per annum
- 10% KPI-based bonus
