We are seeking an experienced and driven Clinical Lead (RGN) to provide strong clinical leadership within a well-established care home in Croydon.
This is a key leadership role focused on delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care, while supporting nursing teams and ensuring the highest standards of clinical governance and compliance.

The Role

As Clinical Lead, you will:
  • Provide visible clinical leadership to nursing and care teams
  • Oversee and ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
  • Lead on care planning, risk assessments, and clinical decision-making
  • Monitor and improve key clinical indicators (falls, wounds, infections, weight loss etc.)
  • Manage medication systems and clinical audits
  • Support residents with complex needs, including dementia, frailty, and palliative care
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead clinical supervision, appraisals, and competency assessments
  • Support inspection readiness and drive continuous improvement

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC pin
  • Strong clinical experience within elderly care settings
  • Previous experience in a Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse role
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and clinical governance
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and support multidisciplinary teams
  • Desirable Experience managing inspections and achieving positive outcomes
  • Knowledge of clinical audits and quality assurance frameworks
  • Understanding of resource and budget management
