We are recruiting for a Deputy Children’s Home Manager to support the Registered Manager across four small, single-occupancy bungalows in Top Valley, providing specialist care for children and young people with learning disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior or Deputy looking to progress within a well-structured service.

The Role As Deputy Manager, you will:
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of four 1-bed LD homes
- Lead and support staff teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Support care planning, safeguarding, and placement stability
- Assist with staff supervision, rotas, audits, and operational tasks
- Act as Manager in the absence of the Registered Manager
- Support inspection readiness and maintain high standards
- Holds a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (essential)
- Has experience working in children’s residential settings, ideally LD
- Has strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Is committed to delivering safe, high-quality care
- Is reliable, proactive, and team-focused
- Salary starting at circa £35,000
