The Role
As Children’s Home Manager, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of two children’s residential homes
- Ensure high-quality care for young people with learning disabilities
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Home Standards
- Lead, supervise, and develop staff teams across both homes
- Manage care planning, safeguarding, and risk assessments
- Drive positive outcomes and ensure a safe, structured environment
- Work closely with families and external professionals
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working within children’s residential care
- Strong understanding of learning disabilities support
- Level 3 in Children & Young People (minimum requirement)
- Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
- Confident leadership and ability to manage multiple services
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
