We are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Children’s Home Manager to support the management of two children’s residential homes in Bretby, providing care for young people with Learning Disabilities. Across both homes there are 6 beds, offering a supportive, well-structured environment with strong leadership in place.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident senior or deputy-level professional looking to progress their career within children’s residential care.

The Role As Deputy Children’s Home Manager, you will:
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of two LD children’s homes
- Lead, supervise, and support staff teams across both services
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered at all times
- Assist with compliance against Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Support care planning, safeguarding, audits, and quality assurance
- Step up in the Registered Manager’s absence when required
- Holds a Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care (essential)
- Has experience in a senior or deputy role within a children’s residential setting
- Has strong knowledge of Learning Disability services
- Is a confident leader with excellent communication skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and positive outcomes for young people
- Starting salary of £35,000
