We are recruiting for an experienced and driven Head of Operations to oversee a growing portfolio of children’s residential homes across Surrey. Currently operating across 5 homes with plans to expand to 7 this year, this is a key senior leadership role focused on quality, compliance, and service improvement.
The Role
As Head of Operations, you will:
- Oversee multiple children’s residential homes across Surrey
- Provide leadership and support to Registered Managers and senior teams
- Drive quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement across all services
- Lead on Ofsted readiness, inspections, and action planning
- Support the growth and development of new homes within the organisation
- Monitor performance, safeguarding, and regulatory standards
- Work closely with senior leadership to deliver strategic objectives
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a senior operational role within children’s residential care
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children’s Home Standards
- Experience with quality assurance, inspections, and improving service ratings
- Track record of supporting multiple homes and driving performance
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Salary starting from £70,000 per annum
