š¤ What Weāre Looking For
- A caring, resilient, and dedicated individual
- Aged 22 or over (in line with regulations)
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 yearsā experience in residential childcare
- Experience working directly with children and young people
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
- Support their emotional, social, and behavioural development
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times
- Support young people in developing life skills and independence
- Work with children who may require high levels of supervision and support
- Lead shifts and support the wider staff team
- Contribute to staff supervision and development
- Ensure policies, procedures, and risk assessments are followed
- Assist with rotas and ensure placement plans and education needs are met
