We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established 5-bed childrenās home in Holmfirth, currently rated Good by Ofsted.
This is a structured, well-supported service providing care for five young people, with 4 children on 1:1 provision and 1 child on 2:1 provision, requiring strong leadership, consistent routines, and robust safeguarding oversight to maintain stability and positive outcomes.

- A safe, stable and nurturing environment for all young people
- Delivery of high-quality, individualised care in line with placement needs
- Full compliance with Childrenās Homes Regulations 2015 & Quality Standards
- Strong safeguarding culture and effective risk management
- Effective staffing structures to support 1:1 and 2:1 care packages
- Clear routines, boundaries and behaviour management strategies
- Continued progression from a Good Ofsted rating towards Outstanding
š Key Responsibilities
- Overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home
- Oversight of placement plans, care plans & risk assessments
- Leading, supervising and developing a trauma-informed staff team
- Managing rotas to ensure safe staffing levels across multiple care ratios
- Safeguarding oversight, incident management & statutory notifications
- Budget management and financial accountability
- Preparing for and leading Ofsted inspections
- Multi-agency liaison with social workers and external professionals
- Participation in on-call rota
- Previous Registered Manager experience within childrenās residential care
(Strong Deputy Manager ready to step up may be considered) - Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or enrolled)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Childrenās Homes Regulations
- Experience managing multi-placement homes and complex needs
- Calm, resilient and structured leadership approach
- Ā£50,000 ā Ā£60,000 basic salary (DOE)
