You will:
- Provide strong, visible leadership across both services
- Drive a child-centred, trauma-informed culture
- Ensure homes are fully compliant with Ofsted and regulatory standards
- Lead on safeguarding, quality assurance, and service improvement
- Build strong relationships with external professionals and stakeholders
- Lead, motivate, and inspire staff teams
- Create a positive, reflective, and high-performing culture
- Champion safeguarding, equality, and inclusion
- Maintain compliance with Childrenās Homes Regulations & Quality Standards
- Ensure Ofsted readiness and strong inspection outcomes
- Oversee audits, action plans, and continuous improvement
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Manage complex risks and safeguarding concerns
- Promote safe practices and reduce incidents
- Oversee care planning and therapeutic approaches
- Promote education, wellbeing, and independence
- Ensure young peopleās voices are heard and valued
- Manage recruitment, rotas, and staffing levels
- Deliver supervision, training, and performance management
- Support staff development and qualifications
- Manage budgets and occupancy levels
- Maintain high-quality, homely environments
- Support service development and growth
- Minimum 2ā3 yearsā management experience in residential childcare
- Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
- Strong knowledge of Childrenās Homes Regulations & safeguarding
- Proven track record of Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
- Experience across multiple services / dual registration
- Knowledge of therapeutic models (PACE, TCI, etc.)
- Experience supporting complex or high-risk placements
