We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a solo (1-bed) childrenās home in Rotherham.
This is a highly focused, therapeutic environment requiring strong safeguarding oversight, structured leadership, and consistent operational management to ensure positive outcomes for the young person.

š” The Role You will have full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring:
- Emotional security, structure and consistency for the young person
- Full compliance with Childrenās Homes Regulations 2015 & Quality Standards
- Strong safeguarding culture and effective risk management
- Stable staffing (including 2:1 where required)
- Clear routines, boundaries and behaviour management strategies
š Key Responsibilities
- Overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home
- Oversight of placement plans, care plans & risk assessments
- Leading, supervising and developing a trauma-informed staff team
- Managing rotas to ensure safe staffing levels
- Safeguarding oversight, incident management & statutory notifications
- Budget management and financial accountability
- Preparing for and leading Ofsted inspections
- Multi-agency liaison with social workers and external professionals
- Participation in on-call rota
- Previous Registered Manager experience within childrenās residential care
(Strong Deputy Manager ready to step up may be considered) - Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or enrolled)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Childrenās Homes Regulations
- Experience managing complex placements
- Calm, resilient and structured leadership approach
- Ā£50,000 ā Ā£60,000 basic salary (DOE)
