We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join a well-established residential care service in the Dover area. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership role within a respected care provider, supporting the Registered Manager in delivering exceptional care to residents.
About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you will play a key part in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring that care standards remain high and compliance is consistently met. You will lead by example, supporting and mentoring staff while working closely with the Registered Manager to maintain a safe, welcoming, and person-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager with daily operational duties.
- Supervise and mentor care staff, ensuring best practice is followed.
- Assist with care planning, assessments, and reviews.
- Promote a positive and engaging home environment for residents.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
- Step up in the absence of the Registered Manager to oversee the service.
- Proven experience in a senior care role within residential services.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (minimum).
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- Competitive hourly rate of £17 per hour.
- Full-time contract – 40 hours per week.
