Are you a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role where you can truly thrive—professionally and personally? Whether you're just starting out in your career or you're an experienced vet seeking a fresh challenge, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We're an independent, community-focused practice based in the stunning market town of Stamford, and we’re on the lookout for a passionate Small Animal Vet to join our warm, close-knit team.

šŸ„ ABOUT US
Proudly independent and well-established, our two-site practice has been caring for pets and supporting their owners for generations. Over the years, we’ve remained true to our values: delivering gold-standard clinical care while fostering a genuinely supportive and collaborative working environment.

🐾 WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THE ROLE
As a valued member of our veterinary team, you'll enjoy a role that allows you to practice in the way you were trained—with autonomy, curiosity, and compassion at its core. We support clinical freedom and encourage individual interests and specialisms, all within a nurturing team that’s always ready to lend a hand.

Key features of the role include:
  • Clinical Freedom – You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own cases while being fully supported by experienced colleagues when needed. We value your expertise and trust you to make the right decisions for your patients.
  • Thoughtful Consultations – Our standard consult time is 15 minutes, with additional time allocated for more complex or sensitive cases. This allows you to build genuine rapport with clients and deliver the highest standard of care.
  • Protected Breaks – We understand the importance of rest and recuperation. Every vet receives a guaranteed, uninterrupted 1-hour lunch break every day.
  • Flexible Working – While this is ideally a full-time, permanent position, we are happy to explore flexible arrangements that suit your lifestyle, family, or other commitments.
šŸ—“ļø YOUR WORKING WEEK
  • Weekdays: Hours are 8:15 am – 6:00 pm, structured to include time for admin, phone calls, and case development so that you’re not rushed between appointments.
  • Saturdays: Shared on a rota basis, Saturday consults run from 8:30 am – 11:00 am and 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm.
  • Bonus: To support your work-life balance, you’ll always get the Thursday off before any Saturday worked.

Our team is friendly, approachable, and genuinely supportive of one another. We believe that veterinary work should be fulfilling, stimulating, and—most importantly—sustainable. We’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, heard, and encouraged to grow.

Whether it's sharing a laugh between consults or collaborating on complex cases, the culture we’ve built is one where people look forward to coming to work each day.

šŸ”§ OUR FACILITIES & TECHNOLOGY
We’re proud to offer a state-of-the-art working environment that includes the latest diagnostic tools and software, designed to make your life easier and improve patient outcomes.
