We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established residential service in the Watford area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a care home with a fantastic local reputation and a strong Good CQC rating, offering high-quality support to older people, including those living with dementia.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance with CQC regulations, and a positive working environment for the staff team. This role requires a leader who can maintain excellent relationships with residents, families, and external professionals while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the residential home.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
- Maintain and improve the service’s Good CQC rating.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the staff team.
- Oversee care planning and risk management to meet residents’ needs.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
- Proven experience as a CQC Registered Manager in a residential care setting.
- Strong background in dementia care.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice standards.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards).
