We’re looking for a compassionate and confident Veterinary Surgeon to join our weekend rota in a well-equipped, forward-thinking practice located in beautiful Cardiff.

💼 The Role:

This is a sole-charge position, but you’ll never feel alone—with experienced RVNs on hand and a friendly, established weekend protocol in place, you’ll have the support you need to work confidently and autonomously.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Clinical consultations & thorough patient examinations
• Routine and emergency surgeries (as needed)
• Medical case management to high clinical standards
• Clear and compassionate communication with clients
• Accurate and complete clinical record keeping
• Staying up to date with current best practices and CPD

✅ What We're Looking For:

• MRCVS status & eligibility to work in the UK
• Minimum 1 year experience in UK small animal practice
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
• Comfortable with sole charge work on weekends
• Great communication and client care skills
• Passion for delivering gold-standard care to both patients and their humans
