We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Care Manager to lead and develop a brand-new domiciliary care service in Barrow-in-Furness. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a start-up project, with the freedom to shape the service and drive its growth from the very beginning.
About the Role:
You will take responsibility for managing and developing the service, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and recruiting and leading a dedicated care team. The role is ideal for someone with the vision and determination to grow a care business and establish it as a trusted local provider.

- Oversee and develop a start-up domiciliary care service
- Ensure compliance with all CQC regulations and company policies
- Recruit, lead, and motivate a high-quality care team
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients, families, and commissioners
- Drive service growth and increase care hours beyond the current 52 per week
- Experience in domiciliary or supported living services (managerial or deputy manager level)
- Strong knowledge of CQC compliance
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A proactive approach with a passion for service growth
- Full UK driving licence
- Salary of £32,000 per annum, rising to £35,000 after a 6-month review
