We are seeking an experienced and driven Registered Manager to open and lead our client's first children’s home in Bournemouth. This is a rare opportunity to build a service from scratch and create a warm, safe, and structured environment for children to thrive.

The brand-new 5-bedroom property will accommodate up to 4 children and young people with Learning Disabilities (LD) and/or Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), depending on the Manager’s specialism and experience.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the registration process with Ofsted and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing staff team
- Implement and maintain high-quality care practices and safeguarding standards
- Develop individual care plans and ensure each child’s needs are met with compassion and professionalism
- Promote a culture of positive behaviour support, inclusion, and personal development
- NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing a children’s home with LD and/or EBD placements
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Passion for making a difference in young people’s lives
