Are you a strong, compassionate leader looking for your next challenge in children’s residential care? We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to take the lead in our EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children’s home in Stoke-on-Trent.

About the Role: As Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance. You’ll lead a passionate team to provide a safe, stable, and therapeutic environment for children and young people with EBD and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards and Children's Homes Regulations
  • Build and lead a resilient, motivated care team
  • Deliver high-quality, individualised care and support positive outcomes
  • Manage day-to-day operations, safeguarding, compliance, and care planning
  • Support referrals and admissions processes to ensure effective placements
  • Develop strong relationships with external professionals and families
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager in an EBD children’s residential setting
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • Solid knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and behaviour management
  • Proven leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Passion for supporting vulnerable children to thrive and succeed
