We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager to join a well-established nursing home in the Gillingham area. This senior role offers the chance to lead clinical standards across a service of between 40 and 50 nursing beds, working with a skilled and committed care team to deliver exceptional resident outcomes.
About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the clinical delivery of care, ensuring it meets the highest standards and remains fully compliant with CQC regulations. Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing and care staff, while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and person-centred environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the clinical care provision within the home.
- Support the Registered Manager with daily operations and compliance.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the nursing and care team.
- Ensure care plans are accurate, up to date, and regularly reviewed.
- Maintain the highest standards of clinical governance and quality assurance.
- Liaise with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure excellent care outcomes.
- NMC-registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD).
- Proven experience as a Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager within a nursing home.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical best practice.
- Passionate about delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care.
- Competitive salary of £55,000 per annum.
