We’re a proudly independent, two-site small animal practice based in the stunning market town of Stamford, serving a friendly and loyal client base across Lincolnshire, Rutland, Cambridgeshire, and Northamptonshire. We combine modern, gold-standard clinical care with a long-standing commitment to our team and our community.

🌱 A ROLE DESIGNED WITH NEW GRADS IN MIND
Starting your first job as a vet can feel like a big leap, so we’ve taken great care to build a role that supports you step by step. You’ll be given structured mentorship, plenty of time to settle in, and ongoing guidance from experienced colleagues who are always happy to teach, assist, and encourage.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Dedicated Support – You’ll have regular one-to-one check-ins with your mentor, access to senior clinicians, and time set aside for case reviews and learning.
• Gradual Progression – We’ll help you build your confidence through phased responsibilities—from consults and routine procedures to more complex cases as you're ready.
• Real Clinical Experience – No standing on the sidelines here. You'll be hands-on with surgeries, diagnostics, and case workups, with the full backing of our team.
• Planned Development Time – Protected time in your schedule for learning, CPD, and reflection.

⏰ YOUR SCHEDULE

• Full-time preferred, but we’re happy to tailor hours around your needs.
• Weekday hours are 8:15 am – 6:00 pm, with structured time for paperwork, phone calls, and catch-up.
• Saturday consults run on a shared rota from 8:30 am – 11:00 am and 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm.
• You’ll always have the Thursday off before a working Saturday to maintain work-life balance.
• No out-of-hours – we value your rest!

• Separate dental suite and operating microscope
• Class 4 K-Laser, sevoflurane anaesthesia, Cardell monitoring with capnography, and active patient warmers

You’ll get full support and training on all equipment as part of your induction.
