We are recruiting on behalf of a respected children’s residential care provider seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to support the leadership of one of their homes in the West Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your residential care career and be part of a team that’s committed to making a real difference for children with EBD and complex needs.
In addition to a competitive salary of up to £35,000, there is significant bonus potential through capacity, and mileage-based incentives.

Role Overview:
  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff teams, acting as a role model
  • Ensure high standards of care and safeguarding for young people
  • Take part in audits, supervisions, and quality assurance
  • Help manage rotas, referrals, and placement transitions
  • Support staff development and uphold a therapeutic approach to care
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience in a Senior or Deputy role within a children’s residential setting
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
  • Working towards or open to completing the Level 5 Diploma
  • Good knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and improving young lives
