Are you a passionate and experienced leader in children’s residential care? We are seeking a committed Registered Manager to oversee the operation of our children's home in West Sussex. This 5 bed EBD home is currently rated "Outstanding" with Ofsted, and supports 5 young ladies. providing a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for them.

About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality care and support for children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You'll ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted standards and promotes positive outcomes for each child.

For this post, you'll have the benefit of working alongside the Retiring Manager for a handover, to ensure a full Induction and a smooth transition. Benefitting you with the wealth of knowledge the current manager has about the home, the role and the children.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Overall responsibility for the management of the children’s home
  • Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and well-being for all residents
  • Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled care team
  • Work closely with families, professionals, and local authorities
  • Drive continuous improvement, positive outcomes, and service development
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience managing or working in a senior role within a children’s residential setting
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • In-depth understanding of safeguarding, children’s legislation, and Ofsted requirements
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of young people
