We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead and establish a brand-new 4-bed home for young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Bolton.
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and running the service to the highest standards, ensuring full compliance with OFSTED regulations. You will lead the recruitment and development of the staff team, create a safe and nurturing environment, and oversee the day-to-day management of the home.

Key Responsibilities:
- Register with OFSTED as the Responsible Manager for the service
- Ensure the home meets all legislative and regulatory requirements
- Lead, support, and develop the care team
- Promote positive outcomes for young people, focusing on education, independence, and emotional wellbeing
- Manage budgets, occupancy, and resources effectively
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting
- Strong understanding of OFSTED regulations and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
- Experience supporting young people with EBD
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Competitive salary of £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
