🔑 What You’ll Do
- Build trusting relationships and provide day-to-day support to children and young people.
- Support education, health, and social development, empowering young people to reach their potential.
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies.
- Encourage participation in daily routines, activities, and decisions affecting their lives.
- Work as part of a team to maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive environment.
- Participate in sleep-in shifts (paid at £50 per night) to ensure consistent care.
- Experience working with children or young people in a care, education, or community setting – desirable but not essential (full training provided).
- Must be willing to enrol onto the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare if not already qualified.
- A caring, resilient, and positive attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- Competitive salary: £25,038 per annum (37.5 hours per week)
