We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join a highly regarded residential care service in the Ashford area. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a home known for its fantastic local reputation and commitment to delivering outstanding care.
About the Role
The service accommodates between 40 and 50 residents and provides high-quality, person-centred care in a safe and welcoming environment. As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and promoting the highest levels of resident satisfaction. You will be a hands-on leader, guiding the staff team, maintaining strong relationships with residents and their families, and helping the service continue to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in overseeing daily operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the care team to deliver exceptional standards.
- Assist with care planning, reviews, and assessments.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with CQC standards and internal policies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external partners.
- Step into the Registered Manager role during periods of absence.
- Proven experience in a senior care role within residential services.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (minimum), Level 5 desirable.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care.
- Competitive salary of £40,000 per annum.
