We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a brand-new OFSTED-registered 4-bed children’s home in Bolton, supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
About the Role:
You will be responsible for establishing and managing the home, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for the young people in your care. You will lead the staff team, promote positive outcomes, and ensure the home achieves and maintains high standards of care.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Register with OFSTED as the Responsible Manager
- Lead the opening and day-to-day running of the home
- Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and safeguarding requirements
- Recruit, manage, and develop a dedicated staff team
- Promote education, independence, and emotional wellbeing for young people
- Manage occupancy, resources, and budgets effectively
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role within a children’s residential setting
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete)
- Strong knowledge of OFSTED standards and safeguarding practices
- Proven experience supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Salary of £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (including bonuses)
