- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our children’s residential homes.
- Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and personal development for every child.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and support a skilled team of care staff.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently, reporting into the regional leadership.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with local authorities, families, educational institutions, and healthcare professionals.
- Foster a positive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive and grow.
- Competitive salary up to £65,000 per annum, inclusive of performance bonuses.

- Operational Management: Ensure day-to-day efficiency, regulatory adherence, and smooth running of the home.
- Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environment.
- Leadership & HR: Guide your team with empathy and professionalism; foster their growth.
- Financial Oversight: Oversee budgets, expenses, and compliance.
- Collaboration: Engage with external stakeholders to coordinate care and enrich outcomes.
- Planning & Reporting: Contribute to strategic planning and maintain compliance with Ofsted and other regulatory bodies.
- Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People’s Residential Management) – or working towards it
- Proven experience in a leadership role in residential child care.
- Deep knowledge of UK safeguarding laws, Children Act, and Ofsted regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Committed to delivering responsive, child-focused care.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
