We are recruiting Residential Care Practitioners to join our childrenās residential services in Derby. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in childrenās residential care or youth work who are passionate about supporting young people in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

We are recruiting Residential Care Practitioners to join our childrenās residential services in Derby. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in childrenās residential care or youth work who are passionate about supporting young people in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
The Role As a Residential Care Practitioner, you will:
- Provide high-quality, child-centred care to young people
- Support daily routines, education, appointments, and social activities
- Promote safeguarding, structure, and positive outcomes
- Work alongside Senior Practitioners to maintain consistent standards of care
- Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and daily record keeping
- Transport young people to appointments, education, and family contact (driving required)
- Contribute to a positive and supportive home environment
- 56.5 hours per week, inclusive of sleep-ins
- Shifts: 08:00 ā 23:00, sleep-in, plus 08:00 ā 08:30 handover the following day
- 3-week rolling rota, working alongside a Senior Practitioner
- Average 10 shifts per month, equating to 244.5 hours per month
- Have at least 1 yearās experience in childrenās residential care or youth work
- Hold a relevant qualification in Childrenās Residential Care
- Have a full UK driving licence (essential)
- Are reliable, resilient, and committed to supporting young people
- Can work effectively as part of a team within a rota-based environment
- Starting salary of £35,809.49, with an increase after probation
