The Role We are seeking a positive, experienced and values-driven Regional Director to provide strategic leadership, management and operational oversight across our residential homes in the West Midlands region.
The size and structure of the region may vary in line with organisational growth and expansion plans.
You will also act as the Responsible Individual for all residential provisions within your region.
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will:
- Support the delivery of the organisation’s strategic objectives across all residential services
- Line manage and develop Registered Managers
- Provide hands-on leadership support where required (including covering or supporting homes during manager absence or periods of development)
- Drive outstanding standards of care, safeguarding, compliance and operational performance
- Lead services towards achieving and sustaining Outstanding inspection outcomes with Ofsted
- Ensure homes meet and exceed expectations in quality, safety, and effectiveness
- Drive occupancy levels and placement stability across the region
- Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care, Children and Young People (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience within EBD and/or LD children’s residential settings
- Previous experience managing or supporting homes through Ofsted inspections
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards
- Proven leadership and supervision skills
- In-depth understanding of children’s residential policies and operational management
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Residential Childcare (required)
