Children’s Home Manager (Dual Registered Role) 📍 Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire
💷 £50,000 – £55,000 per annum Bonus Scheme (DOE & progression)
🕒 Full-time | Permanent | 37 hours per week
Working pattern:
  • Monday–Thursday: 9:00am–5:00pm
  • Friday: 9:00am–4:30pm
  • Flexibility required for evenings, weekends and on-call cover
The Service This well-established care provider delivers high-quality residential and domiciliary services across North East Lincolnshire, supporting children, young people and young adults with learning disabilities, autism and behavioural needs.
  • Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ children’s residential service, supporting up to 7 young people (ages 8–18) across two small, homely settings
  • CQC-rated ‘Good’ domiciliary care service, supporting young adults to live independently within the community
Both services are stable, well-supported and focused on person-centred, empowering care.
The Role This is a dual leadership position, offering responsibility for both the children’s residential home and the domiciliary care service. You will provide visible leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and embed high standards of care across both services.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading, motivating and developing residential and domiciliary care teams
  • Acting as Registered Manager in line with Ofsted and CQC requirements
  • Ensuring safeguarding, compliance and quality standards are consistently met
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations including staffing, rotas and budgets
  • Driving service improvement and professional development
  • Promoting a positive, values-led culture across both services
About You You will be an experienced and compassionate leader who brings:
  • 4 years’ experience supporting young people in residential care
  • 2 years’ experience in a management or senior leadership role
  • Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted and CQC frameworks
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
