We are recruiting for an Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a well-established 2-bed children’s home supporting young people with Learning Disabilities in Leicester (LE2).

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to step into a settled, high-performing service with strong foundations and supportive senior leadership.
šŸ” The Role As Registered Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring outstanding care delivery, regulatory compliance, and continued service stability.
šŸ”‘ Key Responsibilities
  • Full management responsibility for staffing, supervision, safeguarding, care planning and quality assurance
  • Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards 2015, Children Act 1989 and safeguarding frameworks
  • Maintain strong oversight of individualised care planning
  • Lead and inspire an experienced team to deliver consistent, therapeutic care
  • Produce Reg 44 / Reg 45 documentation and internal monitoring reports
  • Oversee training compliance and workforce development
  • Maintain strong multi-agency relationships (social workers, families, professionals)
  • Ensure accurate, software-based record keeping and reporting
  • Manage occupancy and quality performance in line with bonus structure
āœ… Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (completed)
  • Previously Registered with Ofsted
  • Significant experience supporting Learning Disabilities within children’s residential settings
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Experience using electronic care management systems
  • Confident managing compliance, audits and inspections

  • Ā£50,000 – Ā£55,000 salary (DOE)
  • 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Ā£1,000 bonus upon successful Ofsted registration
