We are recruiting for an Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a well-established 2-bed childrenās home supporting young people with Learning Disabilities in Leicester (LE2).

š” The Role As Registered Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring outstanding care delivery, regulatory compliance, and continued service stability.
š Key Responsibilities
- Full management responsibility for staffing, supervision, safeguarding, care planning and quality assurance
- Ensure compliance with Childrenās Homes Regulations & Quality Standards 2015, Children Act 1989 and safeguarding frameworks
- Maintain strong oversight of individualised care planning
- Lead and inspire an experienced team to deliver consistent, therapeutic care
- Produce Reg 44 / Reg 45 documentation and internal monitoring reports
- Oversee training compliance and workforce development
- Maintain strong multi-agency relationships (social workers, families, professionals)
- Ensure accurate, software-based record keeping and reporting
- Manage occupancy and quality performance in line with bonus structure
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (completed)
- Previously Registered with Ofsted
- Significant experience supporting Learning Disabilities within childrenās residential settings
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Experience using electronic care management systems
- Confident managing compliance, audits and inspections
- Ā£50,000 ā Ā£55,000 salary (DOE)
- 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
- £1,000 bonus upon successful Ofsted registration
- £1,000 bonus for achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating
