🐾 Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Wiltshire Independent Practice | 4-Day Week | No OOH | Up to £30K+

We’re an independent small animal practice based in beautiful Wiltshire, and we’re on the lookout for a friendly, proactive, and all-round brilliant Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our warm and welcoming team.

We’re a close-knit bunch of vets and nurses, working together across a well-equipped and thoughtfully laid-out practice, including:

• A dedicated dental suite
• A separate imaging room
• Consult rooms

Our nurses are hands-on and involved in every part of the patient journey – from consultations and inpatient care to surgical nursing and recovery. We love nurses who enjoy a bit of everything and are confident in their ability to multi-task, communicate well, and bring energy to the day.

💼 The Role

We’re looking for a true team player – someone who enjoys being part of a supportive environment, isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, and wants to make a difference every day.
Your role will include a healthy mix of:

• Nurse consults
• Monitoring anaesthetics and assisting with surgeries
• Caring for inpatients and managing recoveries
• Supporting our vets and fellow nurses with a varied and interesting caseload

We’re also ideally looking for someone who is a Clinical Coach or is keen to train as one – we’re passionate about supporting students and would love your help in mentoring the next generation.

🕓 Hours & Rota

We value work-life balance and aim to keep things as consistent and manageable as possible:

• 4 days per week, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 1 in 5 Saturdays, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• No out-of-hours, Sundays, or late-night calls

💰 What We Offer

• Salary between £26,000 – £30,000, with flexibility for highly experienced candidates

🙌 Who We’re Looking For

• A qualified and RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse
• Someone confident, capable, and ready to get stuck into consults, ops, and inpatient care
• A great communicator who enjoys being part of a collaborative team
• Ideally, someone with experience and the ability to be (or become) a Clinical Coach
