What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting vets during consultations, surgeries, and procedures
- Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments
- Monitoring patient health and behaviour
- Preparing and caring for animals before and after surgery
- Carrying out lab tests such as blood work and urinalysis
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Ensuring the clinic is clean, organised, and well-prepared
- Advising pet owners on nutrition, behaviour, and care
- Helping with reception duties when required
- A recognised qualification in veterinary nursing (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience in a veterinary practice (desirable)
- Confidence with laboratory procedures (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and client-care skills
- The ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
- A true passion for animal welfare and team spirit
- A positive, can-do attitude and sense of humour!
