About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and governance. You’ll play a key role in leading and mentoring the nursing and care teams, promoting best practice, and driving continuous improvement within the home.
This role offers both operational responsibility and hands-on clinical input, making it an ideal opportunity for a strong clinical leader ready to step into a senior management role.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager with the overall running of the nursing home.
- Lead and mentor the nursing and care teams to ensure person-centred care.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards.
- Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical governance.
- Contribute to audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
- NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing home setting.
- Strong understanding of CQC requirements and clinical governance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Passion for delivering outstanding care and supporting staff development.
