Our team of 5 supportive nurses works across small animals, farm, and equine – no two days are the same! We’re also a training practice, so you’ll have opportunities to support student development as well as build your own skills.

As part of our nursing team, you’ll take on a broad and fulfilling mix of responsibilities, including:
- Surgical Nursing – Assisting in procedures, preparing theatre, and monitoring anaesthesia.
- Inpatient & Outpatient Care – Administering treatments, supporting recovery, and ensuring the highest welfare standards.
- Client Care & Education – Building trusted relationships and giving advice that makes a difference.
- Mentoring & Training – Supporting student nurses and sharing your knowledge.
- You’ll only work Saturday morning in the practice during your on-call weekend.
- After that, you’re at home for the rest of the weekend – simply available if needed.
- Callouts are rare, and usually only for operations or urgent treatments such as catheters or drips.
- No inpatient care is required overnight.
- To balance things out, you’ll enjoy Friday afternoon off the following week.
