Deputy Children's Home Manager Location: East Ham, London E6
Salary: £37,440 - £41,600 per annum
Hours: 40 per week

• A clear progression path from Support Worker into senior or leadership roles
• Strong ability to build meaningful relationships with young people with complex needs
• Evidence of contributing to positive outcomes and behavioural change
• An authentic, grounded leadership style shaped by real practice

Your Contribution to the Home 💡 Lead With Experience: Mentor and guide staff, share practical knowledge, demonstrate best practice, and apply proven strategies in day-to-day care.
Support Young People: Identify risks early, encourage positive choices, and connect with young people through genuine interaction and understanding.

Essential Background 📌

• Residential childcare experience with consistent career progression
• Previous experience as a Team Leader or Deputy Manager
• Demonstrated success achieving positive outcomes for young people
• Strong leadership qualities, emotional intelligence, and a passion for youth development

Qualifications & Requirements 🎓

• Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare
• Level 5 Leadership & Management (completed, in progress, or willing to begin)
• Enhanced DBS
• Age 25+
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team
