Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the care team, ensuring residents’ individual care plans are implemented and regularly reviewed.
- Administer and record medication in line with NMC standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all nursing interventions.
- Liaise with external healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
- Support, mentor, and develop junior team members.
- Uphold CQC standards, health and safety policies, and best practice in all areas of care delivery.
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with valid NMC PIN.
- Minimum 1 year of post-registration experience in a care home or similar setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards and promoting resident wellbeing.
- NVQ Level 4 / Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
- Experience with medication audits and electronic care planning systems.
