Registered Manager – One-Bed Children’s Home £50,000–£60,000 DOE £5,000 Signing Bonus
ASAP Start | Home Operational | Currently No Children Placed
We are seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead an already operational one-bed children’s home with an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong manager to take ownership of a settled, single-occupancy service with no current placements, allowing full focus on quality, compliance and team development before a young person moves in.
Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager
• Strong background working with EBD or LD children’s residential services
• Solid knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards and Ofsted frameworks
• Proven experience in safeguarding, compliance, leadership and driving positive outcomes
• Able to start ASAP

The Role

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of a one-bed, established home
• Ensure full regulatory compliance and readiness for Ofsted inspections
• Recruit, support and supervise staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
• Work with local authorities, external professionals and internal teams
• Shape the home’s culture, structure and quality standards before placements begin
