Salary: Competitive hourly rate + £53 per sleep (Between £30,000 -£32,041 per annum)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Requirements: Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), Full UK Driving Licence

👥 About the Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join a dedicated team in a children’s residential home in Blackpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Residential Childcare Worker (RCW) ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.

💫 Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of Residential Childcare Workers.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, child-centred care in line with Ofsted regulations and organizational standards.
• Support the Registered Manager with day-to-day operations, compliance, and staff supervision.
• Promote the safety, welfare, and emotional development of children and young people.
• Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and record keeping.
• Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and external agencies.
• Take part in a rota including sleep-ins (£53 per sleep).

🎯 About You

• Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification).
• Have at least 2 years’ experience working in a children’s residential setting.
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Committed to promoting positive outcomes for young people through compassion, consistency, and professionalism.
