Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum

About the Role A great opportunity has become available for an experienced RGN Home Manager to lead a fully staffed, well-established 25-bed nursing home in Colchester. This role requires someone confident, independent, and capable of taking full ownership of the service from day one. The environment is supportive, stable, and well-organised.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and operational oversight of the home
• Ensure compliance with CQC and regulatory standards
• Maintain high-quality, person-centred care
• Support, supervise, and develop the staff team
• Lead on audits, governance, and continuous improvement
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals

Requirements

• NMC Registered Nurse (RGN)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Home Manager
• Previous experience managing a small to medium-sized nursing home
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations
• Independent, confident leadership style
• This position does not offer sponsorship
