About the Role We are seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a well-established, medium-sized nursing home in the Radstock area. With a solid CQC Good rating and strong occupancy, this is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished manager to take ownership of a stable and supportive service.
The role requires a confident leader with experience managing medium to large nursing homes, strong safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to oversee complaints, governance and compliance effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership across all departments
• Ensure continued compliance with CQC regulations and best practice standards
• Oversee safeguarding processes, investigations, and complaint handling
• Manage staffing, recruitment, budgeting and day-to-day operations
• Drive high-quality, person-centred care
• Maintain excellent relationships with residents, families, and external partners
• Lead audits, quality assurance and service improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience managing a medium to large nursing home
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
• Skilled in safeguarding, investigations, and complaint resolution
• Confident leadership and staff management abilities
• Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills
